Bandura’s bobo doll experiment 1961
1) got 36 girls and 36 boys ages 3-5
2) showed them videos of adults aggressively attacking bobo dolls
3) children out in room with toys and a bobo doll
4) children violent with bobo dolls
5) control group who hadn’t been showed video were not aggressive with bobo doll

A
- reliable: well controlled
- applicable: shows danger of media violence

A
- ethical: exposing children to violence. They could go to nursery violent
- maybe behaviour was just play
