Titrations Flashcards
Why do we use a rough titre?
In titration examples we always do a rough titre to test how much alkali is roughly needed.
Explain concordant lines:
The answer to our experiment is the average of the two cordant titres.
Cordant means 0.2ml of each other.

What is a pippette filler used for?
A pippette filler is used to measure the one specific volume accurately.

What is titrations used for?
Titration is an accurate neutralisation reaction or redox reaction, which allows you to accurately determine the concentration or mass of the unknown.
What are indicators job in titrations?
An indicator is used to determine the endpoint of the reaction.
indicators change colour paste on pH.
