What are the 3 types of muscular tissue?
Skeletal, Smooth, and cardiac.
What is epithelial tissue used for?
Line the outside and inside of the heart, kidneys, intestines.
What are key features of skeletal muscular tissue?
Striated, multiple nuclei, long fibres.
What are key features of cardiac muscular tissue?
Can contract and relax for involuntary movements of the heart. Only located in the heart.
What are key features of smooth muscular tissue?
Can contract and relax for involuntary movements. Located in the walls of your stomach, intestines and blood vessels.
What is connective tissue used for?
Support , energy source, insulation and protection.
