A guitar which sounds an octave lower and has 4 strings
Drumkit
Percussion instruments where tuned strings are hit with sticks
Piano
Keyboard instrument where the sound is produced by hammers hitting strings
Organ
A keyboard instrument usually found in churches - often more than one keyboard
Harpsichord
An old piano which can’t play a note longer than a semibreve
Recorder
Early woodwind instrument sound produced by blowing, there are 4 types of recorder; Descant, Treble, Tenor and Bass
Panpipes
Pipes which are graded in size and bound together, the sound produced by blowing across the pipes
Sitar
A stringed instrument from India. It has a drone and strings that vibrate with each other
Tabla
2 Indian drums tuned to different pitches and often used to accompany the Sitar

A band containing brass instruments and percussion
Steel Band
Contains steel oil drums
Scottish Dance Band
Contains fiddle, accordion, piano and drums (ceilidh band)
Wind Band
Contains woodwind, brass and percussion instruments

Group of musisions from a certain country
