Flood current entering the strait of Juan de fuca has a continued set towards the Vancouver island shore, which is experienced as far east as race rocks. The flood current velocity is great on the north shore than the south shore

Ebb current is felt most along the south shore of the strait between new dungeness light and crescent bay. There is a decent set of South and West, especially on large tides.
