A
Increase the thrust of a GTE for short periods to improve the a/c take off, climb and combat performance, without the need to increase engine size, frontal area or weight

Consists of the basic introduction and burning of fuel between the engine power turbine and the jet pipe, using the unburned oxygen in the exhaust to support combustion
