Mx for quinsy…
urgent ENT referral
aspiration/incision and drainage
IV antibiotics
What criteria has to met for a tonsillectomy?
sore throats are due to tonsilitis
5 or more episodes in 1 year
symptoms have been occurring for at least 1 year
prevents normal functioning
