External - Scars - Visible lymph nodes - Masses on neck: thyroglossal cyst/ mass (cyst moves up on swallow) Internal - Gloves and torch - Tongue - Tongue depressor: tonsils: exudate, quinsy - Uvula and soft palate - Tip head back: hard palate - Buccal area and gingivolabial sulcus - Tongue up: examine floor of mouth

- Behind patient
- Submental, submandibular, pre and post auricular, anterior and posterior cervical
Neck masses and/ or tenderness
