Q

Polyhedron

A

A three-dimensional object with flat polygonal faces. Each side of the polyhedron is made up of one of the pieces of the planes. Any three dimensional shape you can create by gluing together polygons punched out of our plane is a polyhedron. All the pieces have to be glued together, can’t have an open hole somewhere.

Cones definition and equation

A

A three-dimensional object with a flat base and one curved side that slants to a tip at the top. Surface area=pir^2+pirs, or if we are not given teh slant height pir^2+pir(r^2+h^2).
Volume=(pir^2h)/3

Spheres Definitiona no Formula

A

Three-dimensional shapes with no corners. Every point on the surface is the same distance from the center.
Only easruement we need for sphere is the radius.
Surface area=4pir^2
Volume=4/3pir^3
