(Literally, “what is beyond physics or nature”) deals with the nature of the world and everything that exists
Metaphysics
often considered the first Greek philosopher, proposed that everything was made of water.
Thales
claimed that everything was in a state of flux or perpetual movement and that everything would start and end with fire.
Heraclitus
Is the branch of philosophy which deals with knowledge and knowing.
Epistemology
Deals more with how we live and act and, as the name implies, places value on certain things.
Value Theory
Is the examination of principles related to right and wrong behavior in humans. It concentrates on moral dilemmas, ethical considerations, and appropriate conduct within a community.
Ethics
The study of aesthetics involves beauty, art, and taste. It investigates the elements of artistic worth, and how individuals perceive and analyze art.
