Use cephalad hand to engage RB
- Type 1=SB away
- Type 2=SB toward
Apply anterior thrust at end of exhale
Texas Twist Type 1
Stand same side
Caudal Hypothenar eminence on PTP, Cephalad Thenar on opposite PTP
Apply anterior thrust at end of exhale
Texas Twist Type 2
Stand opposite
Caudal thenar eminence on PTP, cephalad hypothenar on opposite PTP
Apply anterior thrust at end of exhale
Seated Lower T-Spine HVLA
PTP hand behind head, other grasping elbow
-doc goes over one, or both
Engage restrictive barrier
Apply anterior thrust at end of exhale w ipsi hand
Seated 1st rib HVLA
Opposite foot next to pt, have pt drape arm over knee
Engage barrier by SB toward, Rotate A
-loading rib
On end of exhale, apply thrust inferior, medial and slight anterior through first rib
Rib 3-10 Inhalation
Physician opposite
Caudal hand thenar eminence superior to dysfunctional rib
At end of exhale, apply posterior thrust directed superior
Rib 3-10 Exhale
Pt supine, cross arms PTP side over top
Caudal hand thenar eminence on inferior boarder of rib
Apply thrust at end of exhale, directed posterior and slightly caudal
