If in extension, pt will resist what breathing?
Will resist exhalation, which moves sacrum into flexion
Extension=Inhale
Bilateral Sacral Flexion
Internally rotate and abduct legs
Press on apex to extend sacrum
exaggerate inhale, resist exhale
Bilateral Sacrum Extended

Abduct and Externally rotate legs
Apply pressure at sacral base to flex sacrum
Resist inhale, exaggerate exhale
External rotation gaps the SI joint where?
Anteriorly
Internal gaps posterior
Is there any difference between unilateral sacral and Bilateral sacrum tx?
Not really, just on affected side instead of middle
USF=AB/IR, at ILA resist exhale, exaggerate inhale
USE=AB/ER, at sacral base resist inhale, exaggerate exhale

Forward Torsion
PT is flexed which means more anterior, have their anterior side (chest) face table-mod sims w axis down
Flex and drop BOTH legs off onto docs knees, pt force is up
Backward Torsion
Pt is extended, likes to be behind, have their back face table in lat recum (axis side down)
Pull pt arm toward you, flex knees and hip, and drop TOP leg off
-pt force is up with only one leg
