Basic Spanish
Adjective
An adjective modifies a noun. It describes the quality, state or action that a noun refers to. Possesive adjectives are the same as the possesive pronouns spelled w/o the accent marks.
This time next week.
(Lit.: Today in a week.)

Demonstrative Adjectives
Demonstrative adjectives (this, that, these, those) show whether the noun they refer to is singular or plural and whether it is located near to or far from the speaker or writer.
Adjective Placement
Descriptive adjectives normaly follow the noun they modify (el libro interesante). However, if the adjective does not add a distinguishing characteristic, it will precede the noun (la blanca nieve)

Adverb
An adverb is a word that modifies the meaning of a verb, an adjective or another adverb.
