those w/ positive eugenics reproduce more and those w/ negative eugenics are sterilised in order to have less criminals
what is a limitation of eugenics?
unethical as you can’t stop someone from reproducing
unlikely to be introduced as a widespread policy
what is the death penalty?
capital punishment where criminals are sentenced to death
what did Lombroso say that supports death penalty?
said those with ‘stigmata’ should be removed from society to restore order
what are limitations of the death penalty?
cannot know if someone will be criminal due to genetics
people can be/have been sentenced to death penalty despite being innocent
