A

The Theogony is the story of the creation and the 3 generations of gods ( Gods, Age of Titans, Age of Olympus)

A

Fathers would always want to maintain power and would oppress the sons that would overthrow them. The sons would strive to overthrow the fathers in order to save the family from their dads overbearingness.

A

The role of mothers was the welfare of the family. They would plot and scheme to overthrow the overbearing father. However, they never did the actions themselves and always relied on their sons.

A

Zeus consumes his wife, Metis, to eliminate the prophecy of Metis children overthrowing their father. In other words, Zeus’ removes the wife aspect so he won’t ever have kids to overthrow him.

A

Pandora, the first human women, was used to punish men as a result of Prometheus giving fire to mankind. She’s described as evil due to her beautiful appearance yet cunning nature Pandora opens the box containing all evils of man and dooms humanity.

A

The tale of pandora depicts the first women as an evil being that exists to lure in men and doom them. Hesoid further says that women eat the work of men and exist to look after children due to the sins of their ancient ancestor.
