  • They protested getting less pay than men who were also in the same group.

Magna Carta 1215

  • Established several key rights in the UK, such as the right of churches to be free from the gov, the right of citizens to own and inherit property, and that the monarch is subject to the law.
  • Referred to as the birth of Human Rights because it established that everyone has to act under the law.
