What is a multinational company (also known as a TNC)?
A company that has its Headquarters in one country and branches in at least one other country (usually many countries).
Why are many factories located in poorer countries?
Cheap labour costs, lack of environmental laws, some Asian countries have a strong work ethic, new countries to sell the product
What does globalisation mean?
How new ideas are spread with increasing ease around the world

Create jobs, bring in money to a country, people may have a better lifestyle, improvements in infrastructure, new skills and new technology are introduced

Poor working conditions, low pay, low skilled jobs, creation of sweatshops, money doesn’t stay in the country (leakage),
