How are Christian’s persecuted?
Christians are persecuted in 75% of the worlds nations including North Korea, Somalia and Pakistan. They can be physically assaulted, have their homes/churches attacked and may even be killed for their faith.
How do Christian’s respond to persecution?
The Barnabas Fund sends financial support to Christian’s who are suffering, raise awareness and attempt to influence governments where people are oppressed.
Why should Christian’s respond to poverty?
Jesus taught that is it is easier for a rich man to get through the eye of a needle than to get into heaven.
What do Tearfund do to help those in poverty?
Tearfund are inspired by Jesus’ example to respond to disasters and help communities in poverty. Across the UK, churches donate, hold fundraising events and raise awareness about his work.
