What happens in the Eucharist service?
A priest consecrates the bread and wine and the congregation receives these. They do this to remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and re-enact the last supper.
What happens to the bread and wine in the Eucharist?
Catholics believe that the bread and wine literally become the body and blood of Jesus. The Church of England think they are just symbolic.
What is infant baptism?
A baby is welcomed into the church by having holy water sprinkled on their head. Promises are made by the godparents and the baby is cleansed of original sin.
What is believers baptism?
Being baptised when you are old enough to come to your own decision to be a Christian. This is done by full immersion in the same way Jesus was baptised.
