Q

Precipitation

A

Precipitation is the last part of the Water Cycle process. Precipitation is when the Cloud turns into rain, sleet, hail, or snow. After this part of the process the water evaporates once again.

Q

Transpiration

A

Transpiration is the process by which moisture is carried through plants from roots to small pores on the underside of leaves, where it changes to vapor and is released to the atmosphere. Transpiration is essentially evaporation of water from plant leaves.

A

Sleet is a form of precipitation consisting of ice pellets, often mixed with rain or snow.

17
Q

Freezing Rain

A

Freezing rain is the name given to rain that falls when surface temperatures are below freezing. Unlike sleet, a mixture of rain and snow, ice pellets, or hail, freezing rain is made entirely of liquid droplets.
