Why did Edward IV and Warwick have beef after the Battle of Towton?
Warwick was a bit annoyed because he’d put in a lot of effort to match Edward up with a French gally Bona of Savoy.
But he secretly married Elizabeth Woodville out of love.
What did Warwick do when he fell out with Edward IV?
He switched up 😏 decided to try to put Henry VI back on the throne (again).
Befriended marg. And with the support of Louis XI who had ships and money and men, he overwhelmed Edward IV’s supporters and Edwrad fled to Flanders.
Warwick was therefore succesful as he was then able to put Henry VI back on the throne
