A

Terms of the Treaty of Versailles - Loss of land ?

A

Alsace and Lorraine were returned to France.
Germany lost land to the receated Poland, Belgium and Denmark.
The Leagues of Nations was given control of the Saar region - historically a central location for coal mining which attracted the steel industry.
Germany’s overseas empire was taken away to become mandates controlled by League of Nation.
In total, Germany lost 72,500 km squared of land and between 6-7 million from the treaty

Army was limited to 100,000 men
Conscription was banned
Germany was not allowed tanks, submarines or military aircrafts.
