47.3% of Australians have a chronic health condition.
How many young adults have never smoked?
75.3% of young adults have never smoked.

Because more people know abut the risks and dangers of smoking eg. lung cancer
What proportion of Australians are overweight?
67% of Australians are overweight.
Why do you think the rate of overweight Australians is increasing?
I think it is because there is a low amount of people who meet the physical daily guidelines and a low amount of people who are eating poorly.
Do the numbers on alcohol consumption surprise you? Why/why not?
Yes, because a lot of people are drinking 2 standard drinks per day on average which seems like a lot.
How many adults met their daily vegetable consumption?
7.5% of adults met their daily vegetable consumption.
Why do you think children eat more fruit than adults?
Because children are told/forced to eat more fruit by their parents whereas other adults don’t have people making them eat fruit and can “eat what they want to”.
How many 15–17-year-olds met the physical activity guidelines? Why do you think this is the case?
1.9% of 15–17-year-olds met the physical activity guidelines
