What does it form at its distal end
Conus medullaris and terminates at the film terminale
what does it present at lumbar and sacral ends
enlargements due to grey matter- help supply the limbs
how does the size of the vertebral canal affect the amount of damage to the spinal cord
Cervical- large vertebral canal so reduced risk of injury
Thoracic- small
Lumbar-spinal cord only extends to L1/2
What is in grey matter
Axon terminals, cell bodies and dendrites
Where is a lumbar puncture carried out and why
