Why was the royal proclamation important?
A
- it created the province of quebec
- established the constitutional framework for the negotiation of Indians treaties
- gave Britain the right to purchase FN hunting and fishing grounds, lNd negotiations could only be done through the crown, roman catholic were denied political right and so only the few 100 of protestants would be allowed to vote and stuff, the language was made the official language and a democratic assembly was granted
