gland behind the bladder that adds the majority of fluid to the semen containing fructose sugars to nourish the sperm cells (male)
Prostate Gland
Gland located below the bladder that releases fluid into semen containing activating chemicals for the sperm cells. (male)
What is Bulbourethral gland and primary function?
(male) Small gland located below the bladder that releases small amounts of fluid directly into urethra to lubricate and clean the urethra before ejaculation.
Corpora Cavernosa
(male) Two larger erectile tissue on the ventral surface of the penis surround the urethra
Seminiferous tubules
(male) small tubules in the testes where sperm cells are created
Ovary
(female) paired organ in the pelvis where immature ova are stored
Fimbriae
Fingerlike projections on the ends of the uterine tubes that pull the ovum into the uterine tube
Uterine tube
Tube which carries the ovum from the ovary to the uterus. Also the location where fertilization occurs

inferior portion or neck like portion of the uterus that opens into the vagina

This the innermost layer of the uterus consisting of mucous membrane where embryo implants and develops.
Myometrium
This is the middle layer of the uterus. This layer is made up of smooth muscle

Outermost layer of the uterus

This is the tube that connects the uterus to the outside of the body.

These are cells that secrete the hormone estrogen
