What does the green and yellow stripped wires do and what is it called ?
It is in the plug as a safety feature , it is connected to the top pin and it is called the “ earth wire “
What does the blue wire do and what is it called ?
The blue wire is there to complete the circuit , it goes to the left pin and it’s called the “ neutral wire “
What does the brown wire do and what is it called ?
The brown wire is where the current travels through , it is connected to the right pin and called the “ live wire “

The pins are made of brass
What are the inside of the wire made of ?
The inside of the wire are made of copper

The insulation is made of plastic
