why did the Plague break out?
A
because London was a really dirty place and so the rats carried diseases in them one of which was the plague. they went on the bottom of ships and infected everyone onboard.

how did the plague spread?
A
a flee bit a rat, then the rat infected the flee, then the flee bit a human, then an infected human coughed and so the person walking next to them would catch the virus.

what explanations did the people have for the plague when it broke out?
A
Foul air comets, punishments from God, dogs, cats, bad water
There were many explanations, but none of them were right!

what did people think was the cause of the plague?
A
god trying to punish them for their sins
the movement of the planets
being close to infected people (this one was true)
bad smells
