Q

pH curves

A
  1. Just alkali
  2. Some acid is added but the alkali reacts with it and the pH remains high
  3. This continues until enough acid is added to neutralise the mixture (pH 7) and the acid and alkali
  4. As soon as more acid is added the mixture turns acidic
  5. The pH begins to level off as more acid is adde to the mixture
