What is a private sector organisation?
primary purpose to make a profit
aims to maximise profit while reducing costs
What is a non profit organisation?
charities funded by donations, all income used to help its chosen group
What does the structure of an organisation determine?
how information flows within the organisation
What is a functional organisational structure?
employees are grouped into different departments based on expertise
