it collects data, & receives information such as temp, pain, light, and pressure from its surroundings

what is the purpose of the CNS?
processes the details and formulates a response
what is the voluntary command of the body’s actions called?
somatic nervous system ; includes nervous and musculoskeletal systems

when a signal travels down the nerve thru an electrical current and connects to the muscle at a special connection pt.
what are the involuntary actions of the body called?
things our body does without our conscious choice or awareness
