Q

How does the nervous system work?

A
  1. body detects change using sensory receptors
  2. passed along by the electrical impulse along the special cells called sensory neurons
  3. impulse travels till it reaches the central nervous system.
  4. relay neurone passes information to the motor neurone.
  5. motor neurone transmits the impulse to the effectors witch then contract (muscles), or secrete chemical substances (hormones and glands)
