The metaphor questions Flashcards
Do you think that Charlotte was right when she said that she killed Ms. Hancock?
It is understandable that she felt responsible for her death by turning a blind eye, however, a student has no obligation to take care of the health of teachers.
If Ms. Hancock was acknowledged by Charlotte, do you think the story would’ve played out differently? What do you think would’ve happened?
If Ms. Hancock purposely stepped onto the street, then I think a small act of kindness from Charlotte could prevent her from committing suicide. However, there is no way to prevent an accidental death.
What do you think Charlotte’s metaphorical descriptions converted about the people that she wrote about?
Charlotte’s metaphorical descriptions conveyed her inner emotions and perspective towards the people she wrote about.
Why do you think Ms. Hancock had no difficulty teaching in Elementary School, but had trouble teaching in a Secondary school?
In elementary school, the students looked up to and respected her, however in high school she no longer had that power. Ms. Hancock could relate to the younger students with her childish personality.
