This was the BELIEF that the white Americans which were Christians had to populate ALL areas of America…..

BECAUSE they believed it was GODS WILL for the white Americans to take over Native Indians land to make it CIVILISED.

They believed they were SUPERIOR to the Indians who they thought were SAVAGES!

It was also the belief that made them think they had to change or remove the Indians as they weren’t ‘civilised’!
