Plot Summary
A
Watson was called by a female friend whose husband was a drug addict. Mr. St. Clair was visible from a window in a room and was seen by Mrs. St. Clair. It is thought that the beggar was hurting or attacking Mr. St. Clair. The beggar is locked up and when Holmes gets the change to question him, he cleans a portion of the beggars face. The truth is that he disguises as a beggar because he makes more money but didn’t want his wife to know.
