collectively the little rock nine decided to walk into school together as they were safer in numbers however one girl, Elizebeth Eckford didn’t know about this and had to walk into school whilst being tormented, spat on and degraded. When they all reached school they were all told they could not enter

The taunting got too much as she was always ridiculed the worst, she snapped and poured her lunch on a white boy who was bullying her. She was expelled.
