Superior vena cava
Brings deoxygenated blood from the head, neck, upper limbs and thorax to the right atrium.
Inferior vena cava
Brings deoxygenated blood from the lower limbs, pelvis and abdomen to the right atrium.
The pulmonary trunk
Comes from the right ventricles and splits into right and left pulmonary artery
Which great vessels are on the right?

Which great vessels are on the left?
Pulmonary veins and aorta

Enter the heart posteriorly at the left atrium.
How many pulmonary veins are there, what are they?
- Right and left inferior veins and right and left superior veins
What do pulmonary veins carry
Oxygenated blood from the lungs
What does the aorta carry?
Oxygenated blood to the body from left ventricle.
