Where is the lesser omentum located?
What does it attach to?
A
- Lesser sac lies behind the stomach.
- The lesser omentum is considerably smaller and attaches from the lesser curvature of the stomach and the proximal part of the duodenum to the liver.
- Behind the right hand edge of this fold there is an opening to the lesser sac, the epiploic foramen.
