Q

HR calc. of regular beat from ECG (1 version of many).

A 1-min strip contains 300 large boxes and 1500 smaller boxes.

A

Count the number of small boxes within an RR interval (gap between heartbeats). Eg. 10 small boxes between two R waves, HR is 1500 divided by 10 = 150; or 25 small boxes, 1500 divided by 25 = 60.
(Each small box = 0.04 secs. 5 sml boxes = 0.2 secs)
