What is the aim of the Communion of the deceased?
The funeral mass reminds us that there is a link with the deceased. the catechism says hat when the community celebrate the mass as the body of christ and receive the body in the eucharist, they become close to God.
What is the aim of the communion of the community?
When catholics put the body to it’s resting place, they are expressing their belief that the deceased is awaiting a resurrection
What is the aim of the Proclamation of the eternal life?
The funeral rites all involve a proclamation of the churches faith that the Paschal mystery assures catholics of their eternal life and it ca also give hope to non-catholics whatever their faith or lack of it
