Shahada is the declaration of faith. It is translated into ,”there is no other god but allah, and Muhammad is the prophet/messenger”.
This forms part of the adhan (call to prayer)
The words are whispered into the ears of newborn babies and Muslims will say these words as they are dying.
They are the first words said in the morning and last in the evening.

Salat means prayer five times a day.
Muslims pray (at dawn) before sunrise, midday, after the sun passes its highest, the late part of the afternoon, just after sunset and between sunset and midnight.
Muslim men are expected to go to the mosque

Muslims pray facing Makkah.
The mu’adhin calls the people to prayer from the mosque. He recites the words ‘Prayer is better than sleep’.

A

Zakah means giving money to people who are poor
Every year Muslims are expected to give a certain amount to charity
Zakah is thought of as being an offering to Allah.
To not give Zakah would mean you are not doing your duty to poorer Muslims - and even more importantly - you would be cheating Allah.
