Who can be found at the very top of the Fuedal societal structure?
The king - he owned all the land in the country and made the laws. He also gave land (called a fife) to rich lords and nobles.
Who can be found second to the top of the Fuedal societal structure?
The lords and nobles. The king gave them land, and in return they supplied the kind with soldiers and horses for his army. The nobles gave small amounts of land to professional soldiers.
Who can be found at the third from the top of the Fuedal societal structure?
The knights. In return for land, knights fight for the nobles and king. They also provide protection to the peasants.
Who can be found at the bottom of the Fuedal societal structure?
Peasants. They worked the land for the nobles and knights, who in return offered them protection.
What is the economic system?
A system based on land.
What is a political system?
A system based on hierarchy.
