Describe why Oliver Cromwell began to invade ireland

A

When english people began to live in ireland, as well as scorrish settlers began to live in ireland, The irish werent very happy with foreigners turning up and tsking their best leaders. In 1649, 25000 English settlers and scottish settlers were killed and the english wanted revengee but the english civil war was happening.

Describe how Cromwell is hated and what he did in Ireland

A

Cromwell took his army to the coast of Drogheda, giving the irish a chance to surrender. The Irish were disobedient and cromwell immdeiately prders his huge seige guns to fire at the walls. By morning there was a hole in the whole. Cromwell sent hois troops through the whole, but kept dying so cromwell wejt in himself slaughtering everyone who was there. Then going to Wekford to kill the other 2000 defenders. Those who lived were sold into slavery.
