According to Catholic Church, ppl who aren’t impure enough to go to heaven but not bad enough to go to hell, get sent to purgatory, a place in between. It’s essentially a waiting room where ppl are purged from their sins. Catholics believe once ur sins are purged you go to heaven

What do Christians believe about the soul?
The physical body will die and decay, the souls is immortal and unseen+is part of every human. It makes each individual unique. Makes humans sacred compared to animals. In book of Genesis “God breathed life into Adam”.
What do Christians believe about the body?
Body wants to satisfy it’s desires, it’s in conflict with the soul. St. Paul said this.
What do Christians believe about resurrection after Jesus’ death?
It shows there is life after death.
What do C’s believe about Gods judgment?
Believe that God will judge them according to their faith and actions, god is forgiving, god has to judge people, god doesn’t want to punish people

They should trust God to help them love the right way, god is loving and forgiving, through their confessions and repentance he removes their wrongdoings

- A place of eternal torture
- A view of annihilation, where the soul is permanently destroyed
- An eternal existence without God. The pain would come from being abounded permanently by God
Do all Christians believe in hell?
No some believe that there will be an after-life for all people and religions. What happens in this after life will be affected by how they have lived their life.
Christians understanding of heaven?
Believe heaven is being in the eternal presence of God. Bible describes heaven using many images eg blinding light, singing. Heaven is believe to be a place where suffering or evil no longer exist
