The chaos in the place that she loves and the lack of power that the speaker has as she cannot go there.

As they are similar length ( 8,8,9) it suggest she is attempting to have control.
Why is the final stanza the longest one?
As she is in a metaphorical loving dance with her city, it is as if she does not want to leave, emphasizing her love for the city.
What does the repetition of the pronoun they in the final stanza suggest about the people of the city she loves?
They are threatening.
Why is the noun “sunlight” repeated throughout the poem?
To emphasize how she feels about the place-it is not just a one of. Even when we here about the negatives her passion overpowers the negative images.
What does the juxtaposition in “branded by an impression of sunlight” suggest?
Despite being negativity in the place the love overpowers it.
