Arguments for UK groups being less effective
- WEAK PARTIES = have to persuade more the PM due to ministerial responsibility ( US more lee-way)
- ACCESS POINTS = US means more people able to persuade and polarisation will be determining factor / UK ( fail to reach PM = fail to get legislation through)
- RIGHTS PROTECTION = stronger levels of rights protection in US and better name recognition :. more listened to

RACIAL RIGHTS = UK (atleast in parliament) have less evident racism with conservatives being mroe diverse than labour / not the same for Republicans though

- US has been times where they have gone back on word ( Bipartisan Campaign Reform act -> United Citizens vs FEC)
