9 stage method for the practical of ph
A
- Measure 2 cm cubed of amylase solution into test tube with syringe
- measure 1cm cubed of buffer solution into test tube with syringe
- put test tube in 30 degrees water bath and leave for 5 mins
- add 2 cm cubed of starch to amylase and start stop watch and mix with pipette
- remove drop of solution after 30 seconds and drop into tile of iodine
- should turn blue or black
- Keep doing this every 10 seconds until no brown
- do again with different ph buffer and plot graph
