Q

What are the 3 ways you can use aspect ratio to crop?

A
  1. You can simply manually set the crop overlay freeform style, which results in a non-specific aspect ratio (AR); OR
  2. To maintain current AR, SHIFT hold and drag to crop; OR
  3. Set the AR and lock it – the default is ‘original’ i.e. your existing aspect ratio.
If the lock is unlocked however, your aspect ratio setting won’t work, you’ll be adjusting the crop freeform, so set it and lock it.
