Helps establish preliminary client communication and approval.

Define Roughs.

A

This is the third step of the design process. Putting your best solution to the test.
Roughs are detailed renditions of design solutions that are developed.
Actual size or to scale.
Actual color scheme.
Clean, neat craftsmanship, not sketchy.

Define Comprehensive

A

Time to sell it! The “comp” is the sample you create to sell your ideas/design solutions to your client. They won’t pay to produce/create a project without approving it.

Sample of what the actual product would look like.
A presentation/piece/prop
Sample when you pitch your idea “the sell”

Also a starting point
If the client isn’t sold on the ideas be prepared to tweak the design
Listen to the clients suggestions or to be prepared to completely start over.
