This shows their customers that they have full confidence in that product and it us very durable

Products that don’t work are likely to be returned and this will cost the business money leading to an increase in business costs
What does ergonomically mean?
The interaction of how people react to their equipment and environment , designed so that people can interact with them safety, comfort and minus unnecessary effort

The better the design which functions well then this increases their usp
-this gives the business a competitive advantage
How do designers need to factor cost in?
Selecting materials that minimises cost, a well designed product is more likely to be economically viable .

The using up a natural resources

-reducing the quantity of resources that are discarded in the production process
